Lawyer Peter Leßmann

Peter Leßmann was born in 1942. After studying law at the Max Planck Institute and completing his legal clerkship in Hamburg, he began working at the former law firm Schneider Stein in 1972, where he focussed exclusively on family and inheritance law. From 1974 to 2013, he was a partner in the law firm Schneider Stein & Partner and has been a senior partner since 2000. In addition, he was an honorary vice president of the presidium of the Anwaltunion Fachanwälte and for several years a member of the expert committee of the Hanseatic Bar Association for admission as a specialist lawyer in family law. He took his well-deserved retirement in 2025, but will remain with us as a valued senior partner.
